Description
The hybrid air heater QSE 6+10 consists of a heat pump of 6 kW and an inside unit with water coil, an axial fan and a electrical booster of 10 kW. Still the inside unit fits fine in smaller areas like in shops, showrooms, cafeterias, etc. The water coil with modulating EC fan are the heat release system for the heat pump while the booster is actived when the heat pump does not supply enough heat to reach the programmed room temperature.
At the front of the heater a discharge grill with adjustable louvres takes care of an even air distribution in the room. Preferably, complemented with destratification fans.
During the summer the QSE also provides cooling to some extent.
Efficient energy management
The Smart Controller controls both the heat pump and the indoor unit based on the measured room temperature and determines when the booster should jump in. By choosing, this can be done partly on the basis of the user's programmed electricity rates. The QSE can also be connected to a building management system, so that the performance of the system can be monitored even better.
